Over the past few years I have successfully shutdown several hundred porn sites. I estimate that over 100,000 images have been removed. Please report any pornography you find on the internet to the webmaster of the site you find it on.

Many of the common portals have a link in their policies or a link at the bottom of their page for reporting abuse. I know Angelfire and Tripod do.

You can also try sending email to addresses contrived like this:
The user name of the email can be:
        webmaster
        support
        abuse

So, if the site is at www.somesite.com, just email to:
        [email protected]
        or [email protected]
        or [email protected]

All pornography on the internet should be controlled by a domain extension. Extensions you are familiar with are .com  .net  .edu  .gov
If all sites that contain pornography were restricted to something like .prn or .adl or whatever, you could easily set up a filter on your computer to stop children from stumbling into this area. Also, it would be understood that any pornography found on a site that wasn't in the proper domain extension that the web hosting company will shut it down without question.

Also, any company that wants to provide for adults that want to view pornography, they can provide a domain for it. For example, www.geocities.prn or www.yahoo.prn, etc.

Good luck in shutting down pornographic web sites. I think that enough people have been harmed allready. Consider it like a loaded gun. We don't want them lying around for children to pick up, neither do we want them to harm themselves with pornography. Let the adults handle the guns, and the pornography.

The world will be a better place if everyone does better things each day.
